Themis has been an essential technology partner with our firm. Osman is one the most technically savvy individuals I have met in my long development career. They met every deadline and worked assiduously above and beyond to complete our projects. I would and have highly recommended them to any firm needing their software services.
Themis' head architect, Osman, and their software engineers are first rate. They are very easy to work with. I have seen some possibly tough situations (not of Themis' doing), but they handled those situations professionally. Their framework is complex, scalable and easily extendable. We have successfully integrated new graduate software engineers into their comprehensive framework, so I am able to develop with a wide range of software abilities and keep costs down

Henry has worked in financial technology since the late 1980s. After spending 8 years at the Bank of New York's Mortgage Backed and Government Bond Clearance Systems Department, he went to Tokyo to consult at SG Warburg until Japan's bubble deflated. Henry stayed in Tokyo to create PENN International, a systems consulting firm which catered to foreign financial firms. PENN's clients included General Motors, Goldman Sachs, CS First Boston, and Citibank. PENN also developed systems for Cargill in Sao Paulo Brazil. Upon returning to the USA, Henry was the first lead developer at Tribeca Global Investments, Citigroup Alternative Investments marquee hedge fund. He was recruited by TPG Axon to become the CTO of Axon Financial a structured investment vehicle which was brought down by the asset backed market crash in 2008. For the next 5 years, Henry has held IT management positions at Ore Hill Partners and GLG which was acquired by Man Investments. After leaving Man, Henry has consulted at Taconic Capital on IT management issues and vendor selection for front office systems. Last year Henry joined Options-IT where he is a hands on manager working on the renovation of a $10B fund's cross platform reporting systems (desktop and mobile). He was also co-lead on the development of a data warehouse, and the implementation of a new order management system. Osman has worked in technology, primarily as a software developer, for nearly two decades. While programming solutions for industries which include law, government, healthcare, and finance, Osman has continually searched for methods to streamline software development. As a self-described “lazy programmer” Osman’s approach has been to build reusable highly structured code foundations for faster deployment, easier maintenance, and less bugs. Prior to starting Themis Technology, Osman held the position of Lead Software Architect at Ryan Associates, the notorious Advent Geneva consultancy for the hedge fund industry. Osman designed and implemented a trade captures system, a process server, numerous applications with integration points to Geneva, and other financial applications (reference data, risk, reporting, and trade allocation). As a founding partner of Themis Technology, Osman’s first order of business was to distill his knowledge of structured programming, software development skills, and leading edge technology into the ThemisONE Framework. ThemisONE has successfully been deployed from coast to coast and has proven to save time, development costs, and a few jobs.
